He set up G.J.Hotels Pvt.Ltd.in the year 1983-84 with the technical support of his two young sons and acquired Hotel Maya Palace at Chandigarh. He further expanded by setting up another The Maya Hotel at Jalandhar under Maya Inns Ltd in the year 2000. The group has also interest in coconut farming and trading (parent business) in a remote place called Sompeta in Andhra Pradesh,a southern India State. Maya Kingdom, luxury and deluxe hotel is expected to ready by October 2012 at Hyderabad,01km away from new international airport at Shamshabad.
