SIX-O-ONE
The all-hours restaurant is our tribute to the historic location. Here hard modern materials are juxtaposed with softer textures to create a stunning space. Bamboo flooring and coconut shell inlay are fused with dramatic light columns that soar 18 feet high into the open space. Live performances by the Chefs add warmth and excitement, the flickering flames finding reflection in the glass copper tiles. Smoky aromas from the tandoor and the wood-fired pizza oven waft into the air and stimulate the palate. Authentic Italian and International classics are highlights of the menu. Indian cuisine from Lucknow to Kerala is presented with innovative styling. In the Pasta - Choco Bar fresh pastas and noodles are tossed to your liking and sinful chocolates and desserts act the perfect temptress.
AQUA
Aqua, dramatically situated on the eighth floor of The Park, Chennai offers a spectacular view of the pool and the city beyond. The café opens for lunch and has a modern Mediterranean feel. A smart black and white floor is punctuated by shades of blue. The pool deck has a tropical touch. Cane and rattan loungers, fabric draped cabanas and luxurious double beds, encourage you to spend the day lounging by the azure and gold pool. From sundown the mood changes with rejuvenating music. Breezy evenings with Surfrider and Sex on the Deck, our sunset cocktails make this a perfect place to unwind with friends. Flower Power Barbeques on Wednesday night add a delicious smoky flavor to the evening.
PASHA
Ensconced in a splendid golden pleasure dome, now rules the Pasha. Translucent fuchsia drapes welcome you into the amazing labyrinth of The Pasha's pleasure palace. The eye is immediately caught by the giant eagle suspended from the ceiling. The bright red glow from HIGH, a unique light sculpture by Krishnaraj Chonat, warms the white pearl encrusted silver leather wings. The outstretched wings of this beacon of life, recalling the unexplored and the unborn, are poised to breathe life into you. Recline into the low divan-styled seating areas and ease into silky cushions in myriad colours. Chartreuse green, fuchsia pink, silver leather, sparkling sequins are warm and inviting. A maze of metallic organza drapes create perfect hideaways in the midst of frenzied activity - your exclusive urban harem, where whirling veils seduce you. Relax and enjoy your intimate moments, cocooned from prying eyes. The sparkling mirrored walls of the double height space of a contemporary sheesh mahal trap the reflections of multiple candles, exuding light and scent. Walk up to the mirrored dance floor in perpetual motion with bodies moving to voluptuous rhythms mixed by the Resident. Warm glows from Moroccan lamps show you the way to the private powder rooms. And on top, the most precious of jewels, Kismet, sits, flashing seductive glances through flowing silks. Private pavilions of sensuous opulence offer a bird's eye view of the entire area below. Shimmering cushions here glow in the dark, preparing you for the sumptuous celebrations of hedonistic delight. Outside, wooden doors inset with Tanjore paintings lead your escape into the Riad - a courtyard of sin. A specially commissioned coloured glass bangle floor traps the jewel like colours of passion and adds to its mysteries. Glittering stars look down on this open space of perfect calm and rejuvenation. Farther into the Pasha's palace is the splendid Chettinad terrace with pillared, fabric canopies. This terrace, ideal for private hire, can be approached though a separate staircase. Pasha is an ever-changing space of intimacy and mystery - a fleeting vibrant world where a game of hide and seek allows you to imagine and create your personal pictures of passion.
THE LEATHER BAR
In a complete contrast to the virginal white lobby, stands The Leather Bar. Sexy. Masculine. Dark. The rich black leather floor blends into olive suede walls. The space pays tribute to Chennai, the city of leather, accessorised by glamorous artifacts and books on leather and fashion. The DJ in the private console overlooks the lobby and interweaves sound and images to create the right energy. The intimate spaces invite you to lounge in luxury while imbibing divine spirits from our skilled bartenders. In fine weather an outdoor terrace enables you to enjoy the dark night, inhaling the heady smell of the sea.
LOTUS
Lotus, the national flower of India plays an equally important part in Thai life. A perfect symbol of peace and beauty, its roots lie embedded in both the Hindu and Buddhist religions. A luxurious silk-enrobed room reminiscent of the rich colours of monk's robes is an elegant setting for Lotus, the modern Thai restaurant. The mood is quietly dramatic; the senses are rejuvenated by the richness of the colours that accentuate the simplicity of the decor. Tall regal lotuses dipped in gold form a sculpted center table. Specially commissioned artifacts celebrate the stately beauty of the simple flower that lends its name to this modern space. Floor length mother of pearl chandeliers cast a gentle glow into the space. A perfect balance between sensuous energy and a sense of calm will attract you to luxuriate here
BANQUETS
Specialising in boutique banqueting, the three conference halls, The Sansara Hall, The Chandra Room and The Surya Room casts its spell in rich silk, and polished wood. All the halls are situated a floor lower to the lobby and is accessed through a Grand Stairway across a cascade of waterfalls. The banquets play host to the most talked about events in the city.
The dramatic entry leads to an atrium that is breath-taking in its simplicity. Pale cream limestone, aqua leather and chocolatey velvets create an oasis from the chaos of the city. The multi-layered lobby echoes theatre and performance stages inviting one to take part in the drama or observe from a quiet corner. At night the atrium lobby becomes an interactive space with projected images, light and sound, echoing the past life of its location.
A huge granite arc floats on glass to form the reception, becoming the nerve centre for all the backstage work in the hotel. The wall of light on the grand staircase, is our modern homage to walls of traditional deepams that light temples and homes across India.
