By Road : Shimla is connected by road from Chandigarh (124 Kms), from Kalka (110 Kms) and from Delhi (385 Kms). The drive from Delhi to Shimla takes approximately 8 hours and from Chandigarh to Shimla, approximately 3 hours.
By Rail : Fast trains run daily from Delhi to Chandigarh and Kalka. From Kalka, train connections on a quaint narrow gauge railway, built in 1903, are available upto Shimla. The travel time is approximately 4 hours. There are number of trains to Chandigarh and Kalka. Limousine pick up can be arranged from Shimla or Chandigarh railway stations.
